Son of the argentinian Jazz guitar player alive legend Walter Malosetti and starting as a drummer, Javier decides to change instruments, so since 1986 he's one of the most required and important bass players of the musical scene in Argentina, as from then on also and simultaneously he passionately develops his knowledge and skills on drums, guitar and singing.
Musician and producer of all his albums among others, he launches 8 albums as a soloist of which several have been awarded by the prestigious prize "Gardel a la música".
He has played with well-known artists of the national and international musical scene in both, Argentina and abroad.
Currently he's endorser of Warwick basses, Magma strings (JM signature series), Kw wires, Maese instruments, Vihuela strapes and Pony clothing.
Also he was the musical director of the tv show "Música para soñar" in which the most important soloist from Latinamerica have performed.
From 1987 to 2004 he works in teaching electric bass private lessons, and ever since 2004 he has been organizing workshops for professional and amateur musicians.
From this year he use an instrument released by the great luthier Mariano Maese, it's a double neck 5 strings bass and guitar: The M2.
